After spending 10 seasons in her own Dry Creek Valley vineyard, an encounter in a Las Vegas steakhouse sparked an even deeper appreciation for wine. Marisa’s writing has appeared locally in DAVID, Desert Companion, and VEGAS, and also on the global platform, including Decanter and JancisRobinson.com. She is the creator of MarisasWineDoodles which she refers to as “whimsical wine keys” that engage wine drinkers in a fun, approachable way. Marisa holds a WSET 3 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers. The self-proclaimed rock geek is often found scouring for limestone along fault lines and treading on ancient vineyard soils of the world.
