4 Don’t-Miss Vegan Meals for the Ultimate New Year, New You

Where to eat yummy vegan bites on the Strip

By Melissa Gill

Las Vegas offers a myriad of must-experience sinfully delicious culinary creations. To keep it inclusive and versatile, many restaurants now offer multiple vegan options that are as equally impressive as their carnivorous counterparts. The next time you visit the Strip or close to it, indulge in these expertly crafted dishes that forgo animal products from some of the city’s best eateries. Diana Edelman, Las Vegas’ vegan queen and creator of Vegans Baby, shares some of her top suggestions.

CATCH Las Vegas

CATCH Las Vegas, located in Aria, serves must-have tasty vegan crab cakes, but you also have to save room for dessert. Edelman says their pistachio cheesecake is “decadent, creamy and perfect.” It’s safe to say you won’t leave here hungry.

The Mayfair Supper Club

In the mood for a robust, healthy meal? The Mayfair Supper Club in the Bellagio serves a scrumptious deconstructed vegan pot pie. Edelman describes this dish as “hearty and cozy when you pair it with the supper club vibe.” The glitzy ambiance and glamorous retro decor will make you feel like you stepped into another time.

Adding excitement to your dinner, nightly.

Slice of Vegas

If you’re looking for something a little more casual, try Slice of Vegas. Edelman says this is her go-to pizza spot on the Strip. You’ll find this gem in The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Their vegan menu includes everything from starters to dessert options. Some of their specialty pies include BBQ Chicken, Vegan Supreme, Vegan Meat Lovers and more.

Simply Pure

Simply Pure isn’t on the Strip, but it’s not too far off the path. If you venture Downtown, this vegan gem will excite your tastebuds. Chef Stacey Dougan is internationally known for her gourmet vegan creations. Try their flavorful tacos. They offer both Simply Pure Tacos and Asian Tacos. Both dishes are made with seasoned vegan protein “beef” on your choice of either corn tortillas, sun-dried tomato tortillas or lettuce wraps. Tacos are always a win.
