It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and while Las Vegas never needs an excuse to throw a good party, green beer and Irish whiskey will be flowing throughout the day with big events and celebrations on The Strip. Check out the top destinations going the extra mile for the holiday.
Ri Ra Irish Pub
The Shoppes at Mandalay Place
The Irish spirit is strong at Ri Ra. The pub has several themed rooms with historic artifacts and design pieces imported directly from Ireland. St. Patrick’s Day is usually an over-the-top party, but this year, it’s mostly business as usual with reservations available online. Enjoy authentic Irish food, a great whiskey selection and music by The Black Donnellys from 2:30-11 p.m.

The Strip
Celebrate outdoors at The Linq Promenade. Grab a Shamrock Sour cocktail ($11) with Irish Whiskey and Melon Liqueur from The Sky Lounge while on your way to board The High Roller, which will be illuminated in shades of green all night long. Green Modelo draft beer ($6), Guinness cans ($7), Jameson shots ($7) and Irish Car Bombs ($12) are being served at Icebar. However, O’Sheas Irish Pub, which currently only operates on weekends, will be closed.
New York-New York
The Strip
The biggest party on The Strip is outdoors at New York-New York, where guests will enjoy beer gardens, drink specials, Irish food and live music from 10 a.m.-midnight by The Brooklyn Bridge. The energy will be especially strong at Nine Fine Irishmen, where corned beef and cabbage ($21), lamb stew ($22) and chicken pot pie ($23) top the menu.
Sugar Factory

You can always count on something sweet at the Sugar Factory. Ask for the $25 Lucky Leprechaun Insane Milkshake, which erupts with the flavor of Irish Coffee. The photogenic creation will liven up your Instagram feed with Jameson whisky blended together with vanilla and coffee ice cream inside a chocolate-covered mug with green sprinkles. The magnificent milkshake is topped with chocolate gold coins, rainbow sour candies and a colorful whirly pop. A non-alcoholic version is also available for $19.
Royal Britannia Gastropub

Stepping inside Royal Britannia is like taking an instant trip across the pond. The pub is decked out in classic British decor, but will borrow a little bit of Irish charm for St. Patrick’s Day. Stop by for $5 pints of green Pabst Blue Ribbon, $5 paddy picklebacks and $10 Jameson shots.
STK
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
STK is adding some Irish inspiration to its menu with corned beef sliders and Leprechaun Stiletto cocktails from March 15-21. They’re available all night long, including the 7-Items-for-7-dollars Happy Hour.
Black Tap
The Venetian
Black Tap has a pair of limited-edition shakes this month. The Get Yer Irish On! (available March 15-21 for $17) is a vanilla shake with a vanilla frosted rim, mini marshmallows, green shamrock icing, a Lucky Charms Rice Krispie bar, rainbow sour candy, gold chocolate coins, whipped cream and even more Lucky Charms. The St. Paddy’s Spiked Shake mixes Jameson with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream with a cherry on top (March 1-31 for $11).
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
Harrah’s
The long-running steakhouse has a four-course meal in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. It includes onion soup with cheese, braised beef and lamb shepherd’s pie, an 8-ounce filet with Brussels sprouts or cauliflower au gratin as the main course and grasshopper mousse cake for dessert. A free shot of Jameson or Guinness is included with the dinner, which is $120 per person.

The upscale cocktail lounge has a couple new drinks to try on St. Patrick’s Day. Patty’s Brew is a modified version of the bar’s Coney Island Express, replacing Dark Rum with Jameson Caskmates and mixing it with Coffee, Licor 43 and Amaro. The Dubliner Express is a combination of James Caskmates, Giffard Banana and Caffe Lolita with a coconut cream float.

St. Patrick’s Day just happens to mark the return of “Absinthe,” and is there a better way to celebrate the holiday than with the presence of The Green Fairy? Tickets for the rowdy and raunchy big-top variety show begin at $149.
Moneyline Pizza & Bar

Tired of the same old Irish bar food? Moneyline is mixing things up with a St. Patrick’s Day-inspired pizza. The Irish Lamb Bacon Pizza is topped with lamb bacon, goat cheese, Irish cheddar cheese, purple potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Peppadew peppers, chive blossoms and a whiskey onion marmalade. Slices will be available to go from 11 a.m.-9 p.m for $6.50.
Diablo’s Cantina

Put a Mexican twist on St. Patrick’s Day. Diablo’s Cantina is loading up the menu with green chile chicken quesadillas, crunchy tacos with slow-cooked beef brisket and green salsa and “Green Madness” fries with bacon, pepper jack cheese sauce, cilantro, sour cream and tomato toppings. All three dishes are $12 each. Chase your meal with $5 green beer pints and Jameson shots.
