Lifting pandemic restrictions on June 1 in has had something of a snowball effect on Las Vegas’ concert calendar. The ball started rolling with the first sounds of live music on the Fremont Experience at 12:01 a.m., and since then we’ve been inundated with announcement after announcement as touring artists put Las Vegas, and its surging visitor numbers, in their sights.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s coming in the weeks and months ahead, as the news arrived in our inboxes.
Las Vegas Concert Guide
5 a.m. – Keith Urban at The Colosseum
Country star Keith Urban’s return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been in the works since he wrapped his “Keith Urban Live – Las Vegas” residency in January 2020. With pandemic restrictions no longer holding back hungry fans, Urban is putting his hat back on for five performances on September 17, 18, 22, 24, and 25. Tickets
7:02 a.m. – Brad Paisley at Wynn Las Vegas
Grammy winner and Nationwide Insurance spokesman Brad Paisley is making his Wynn Las Vegas debut June 25 and 26 with an “acoustic storyteller” show at Encore Theater, in which he’ll perform his most famous songs while, presumably, talking about their origins and also regaling the audience with stories about what Peyton Manning is like in real life. 7:05 a.m. – Adam Lambert at The Venetian
One of American Idol’s most famous alums gets his own five-show limited engagement at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian this fall. Adam Lambert, who last hit the Strip with Queen at Park Theater in the pre-pandemic era, will perform solo on October 22, 23, 27, 28, and 30. Lambert dropped his latest album, Velvet, in 2020. 10:53 a.m. – Death Cab for Cutie at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Seattle-born aughts sensation Death Cab for Cutie returns to Las Vegas on September 15 with a midweek concert at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The group last dropped an album in 2018, which is great if you’re one who dislikes hearing “something off our new record.” Tickets
11:27 a.m. – Christian Nodal at Planet Hollywood
Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood is notable for its concert residencies, but Latin Grammy winner Christian Nodal is making a one-night-only appearance on September 14 to kick off his 18-date “Botella Tras Botella Tour.” The tour, named after the artist’s monster hit (which just dropped in April), will feature an appearance by rapper Gera MX, so you’ll get the full “Botella” experience. 11:37 a.m. – Alanis Morissette at T-Mobile Arena
Alanis Morissette is going to make a lot of 90s teens happy when she brings her 2021 world tour to T-Mobile Arena on October 2. The tour should have hit Vegas last year, but better late than never when it comes to celebrating the 25th anniversary of Morissette’s world-changing debut album, Jagged Little Pill. The singer will perform the album front-to-back, with opening acts Garbage and Liz Phair. Tickets
12:11 p.m. – Station Casinos Unleashes the Live Music
Station Casinos on Tuesday went full bore with its live music announcement – more than two dozen live concerts and lounge acts spread across its properties. Of note: Richard Marx at Green Valley Ranch on August 20; Don McLean at Green Valley Ranch on September 17; REO Speedwagon at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa on September 10; and GOAT yacht rock group Ambrosia at Santa Fe Station on November 20. 12:43 p.m. – Lost In Dreams at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center
Las Vegas will add another music festival to its CV this fall when Insomniac debuts its Lost In Dreams at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. The two-day outdoor concert, scheduled for September 4 and 5, will take place on three stages, and while artists haven’t been announced, Insomniac is promising to showcase “a new world of future bass, melodic dubstep, and vocal driven dance music. And let’s not forget…
No formal announcement came via email, but word spread fast this morning that Guns n’ Roses will return to Vegas on August 27 as part of the band’s U.S. tour with Wolfgang Van Halen’s band Mammoth WVH. The venue has yet to be announced. Tour Schedule
