Wynn Las Vegas's Location in North of The Strip

Wynn Las Vegas, the base of your Las Vegas Strip adventure, is located on the north end. This means most of your sight-seeing will need to be done across the street and south of your resort location. There are a few interesting sights further north than Wynn, including Resorts World, a very new casino worth exploring. Beyond that, you’ll be able to visit Sahara and other classic Las Vegas locations on Fremont Street and downtown.

To the south, you can explore the rest of the Las Vegas Strip. Initially, you’ll be able to walk the canal shops of the Venetian and Palazzo. Across Las Vegas Boulevard, spend your days shopping or visiting Treasure Island.

All this and more is yours to see and do with a stay at Wynn Las Vegas.

    North Strip

At the Downtown Grand, you not only have easy access to the North Strip resorts, but you are right in the middle of downtown Las Vegas and the Arts District.

Downtown Las Vegas and the Arts District is a bustling center of gaming, dining, and unique attractions you won’t find on the Strip. You are right in the middle of it at the Downtown Grand and still relatively close to the North Strip and resorts like the STRAT and Circus Circus.

To explore Las Vegas Boulevard more thoroughly and much faster. You can catch the Monorail there and stop at six other conveniently located stations farther south. We recommend a multi-day pass if you are in town for a while.

However, if you want to stick closer to “home,” you can always check out the Viva Vision light show at the Fremont Street Experience. The large, domed screen overhead produces a crazy display of lights every hour, right in line with what you’d expect in Las Vegas. On Fremont Street, you will also find live music nightly, walk-up bars, street performances, and access to many downtown casinos. The Slotzilla Zipline offers a unique and thrilling perspective on the Fremont Street Experience!

Also nearby the Downtown Grand is the Mob Museum across the street to the north, on Stewart Avenue. Vegas has a storied past with strong ties to the mob, so you won’t want to miss that. Neonopolis offers shopping, entertainment, dining, and nightlife in a unique shopping mall setting.

If you want to experience more of Vegas but stay near downtown, the Mob Museum and the Neon Museum both offer a unique peek into the city’s storied past. It’s pretty fitting if you’re also staying at the Circa, keeping that history alive.

Head toward the Strip, and you’ll run into the northernmost Strip hotels. The STRAT features their SkyPod, home to the Top of the World restaurant. This restaurant makes a full 360-degree rotation every 80 minutes, so you can get a world-class view of the city while enjoying your meal. Over four miles long, the Las Vegas Strip is a man-made wonder that sparkles in the desert, a diamond in the rough and a jewel of undiscovered possibilities. Las Vegas offers a little something for everyone at every age. From the young to the young at heart, you can’t help but find a little magic whenever you have a chance to stay. The North end of the Strip is one that has undergone some of the most dramatic changes, but still feels fresh at heart. The Embassy Suites Convention Center offers a unique location where you can be at home with the locals, or go party under the lights of the Fremont Street experience in the same travel time.

Avoid the gaming and crowds when you stay at a North Strip hotel, as the denser populations tend towards the middle of the Strip. The Las Vegas monorail is your ticket to seeing it all, without a worry or a care, whether you’re in town for CES, a Golden Knights game or Usher concert, you won’t be too far away, with T-Mobile Arena, MGM Grand Arena, and Allegiant Stadiums, all within a ten minute monorail ride.
