The resort on the center of the Strip honors the city that never sleeps with ⅓ replicas of the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty, along with other famous landmarks. The hotel rooms are disguised from the outside, appearing as NYC buildings. The cluster of replica buildings depict the Empire State Building, Liberty Plaza, New Yorker Hotel, Chrysler Building and eight others. They’ve taken creative liberties with the skyline and added a roller coaster, because why not? It is the Las Vegas Strip, after all. 

The Hotel

UPDATE APRIL 2022: The Spa at New York-New York has closed to the public permanently. Guests of the hotel are welcome to use the Spa at Park MGM for all of their relaxation needs, and the fitness center and salon will remain open for use.

The fitness center is packed with basic machines like treadmills and ellipticals. Guests 18 and older can head to the fitness center for a simple workout at no added cost.

Walking Bridges

New York-New York has two pedestrian bridges, one from MGM Grand and one from Excalibur. From MGM Grand, visitors can cross directly above Las Vegas Boulevard to New York-New York. It can be a jarring and exhilarating experience if the road below is busy. The bridge from Excalibur leads visitors over Tropicana Avenue. Both walkways have excellent views of the replica New York cityscape for which the resort is best known. 

The Park

The casino at New York-New York is one of the more casual establishments on the Las Vegas Strip. The casino floor is quite large at 84,000 square feet ,but isn’t so huge that it becomes a chore to explore. The staff members are friendly and welcoming, and like the energy at New York-New York itself, the casino is decidedly lively. 

With over 900 slot machines and around 50 table games, you won’t run out of ways to test your luck. The table games dealers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the low minimums make New York-New York an excellent casino for casual gambling. The limits range from $10 to $2,000, and the casino has an average return to player rate on bets.
