Swimming Pools at the Vdara Las Vegas

Vdara shares many things with ARIA, such as the casino and parking amenities. One thing it doesn’t share is its pool deck, situated high in the sky in the Las Vegas Strip. It is the perfect complement to all of Vdara’s spa treatments and other soothing amenities. Walk out onto the entryway rooftop to find the pool deck and surrounding cabanas. The fun, brightly-colored deck furniture will transport you into the tropical hideaway you didn’t know you needed. This is also a kid-friendly pool, although little ones aged 14 and under will need adult supervision in order to enjoy the pool. There are no adults-only choices for pools at Vdara, but for a change of scenery, guests are welcome to use the adjacent ARIA pool as well. Refreshments are also close by. Order fun twists on classic poolside fare, such as the fun, boozy fruit salad delivered right to your daybed or cabana inside an actual watermelon bowl. Reservations are required for the more luxurious pool seating—but you need a room at Vdara first. Book a night or two at Vdara Hotel on the Strip to start relaxing with those signature “Vdara views.”

Vdara Las Vegas is a Pet Friendly Hotel

Vdara Hotel at ARIA welcomes your furriest family members with open arms. Dogs are the only pets allowed here, but Vdara invites them in with flair. Bring up to two pooches along with you, as long as their combined weight does not exceed seventy pounds. Should you stay Sunday through Thursday, there will be an additional $100 per night fee. If you book Friday and Saturday, the fee is $150 per night. Of course, dogs must be kenneled if you leave them in the room. Didn’t pack one in your luggage? Request a crate at the front desk. When it comes to dogs, Vdara pulls out all the stops. During their stay, they will receive cozy blankets, special treats, and may order from a special in-suite dining menu. If you need a bowl or dish, it will be provided. At Vdara, there is even a fenced in dog park next to the valet.

Also, while this hotel offers great views and access to the Strip, it is set back a few blocks from all the action. This provides a quieter, boutique feel you may not get in another Las Vegas hotel. Finally, there is no smoking and no casino floor here, so children will be free to explore alongside you and enjoy the pool.

Vdara Las Vegas is in the Middle of the Strip

Vdara Hotel at ARIA is so close to the center of it all that it is included in what is known as “CityCenter Las Vegas”. This connects the hotel to the ARIA and Bellagio casino resorts. Within a few short steps, you’ll be connected to these resorts. And, with a bit more walking, you will be able to reach sights like the Cosmopolitan’s ice skating rink in winter, or the T-Mobile Arena for a concert or hockey game. So, even though this hotel may be considered a quieter choice, there is no need to consider it away from all the action.

There are a number of one room suites available at Vdara. The Studio is Vdara’s most basic suite, though it is anything but ordinary. Your room comes with an astonishing view of the Las Vegas valley and surrounding mountains. The room is perfect for longer stays, too, as a kitchenette with a refrigerator, and a two-burner electric cooktop is there to fit your needs.

Upgrade your studio to a studio with a Fountain view. This room has a clear view of the Las Vegas Strip, and allows you to look down on the Bellagio Fountains. Another option is the Studio Parlor, which separates the living area and bedroom for added privacy.

One Bedroom Suites

If you’re looking for something larger than a Studio, but not too grand, look no further than a one bedroom suite at Vdara. These one bedrooms come with about 800 square feet of spacious opulence.

In the City Corner Suite, you will enjoy views of the Las Vegas valley from Vdara’s towering corner. This room not only has a full-sized stainless steel refrigerator, but also a four-burner cooktop and microwave. There is even a washer and dryer for your clothing. Don’t forget about the fully-stocked intelligent mini-bar. The fun will begin as soon as you arrive.

The Executive Corner Suite is the perfect choice for those travelers working while they play. This room is laid out well with a separate entertainment area and dining area. Invite a business partner over for drinks before going over this month’s numbers, and end the afternoon enjoying your amazing corner view.

The Vdara Suite is another lovely one bedroom option. Again, you’ll have everything you need to live, work, and play including a full-sized kitchen, cordless telephones, and an in-suite tablet to order food and beverage. You can also use this technology to book spa and salon services.

The Panoramic Suite offers 270-degree views of the ARIA campus below. Enjoy the view while dining at your full-sized kitchen table, or while relaxing on your plush couch.

For a truly unique room experience, try the One Bedroom Loft at Vdara. This room is slightly larger than other one bedrooms, with 948 square feet. The king bed is lofted above the first floor surrounded by clear glass. This way, you can enjoy the spectacular views from another vantage point.

If you’re looking for an all-suite hotel and spa experience, look no further than Vdara Las Vegas. Vdara Hotel & Spa is perfect for those who love the excitement that Las Vegas brings but prefer to enjoy it in an exclusive, non-gaming and non-smoking environment.

The History of Vdara Hotel & Spa

Located on the Las Vegas Strip, Vdara Las Vegas was the first of many projects to be completed as part of the $8.5 billion CityCenter complex. Just like ARIA, Vdara was a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Infinity World Development. The opening of Vdara on December 1, 2009 was followed by the unveiling of The Shops at Crystals, Mandarin Oriental—which is now known as Waldorf Astoria—and ARIA, which all debuted in the same month. Vdara was designed by Rafael Viñoly of RV Architecture, LLC. Because of its sustainable design, the eco-friendly hotel achieved a LEED® Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Other design highlights include Nancy Rubins’ Big Edge sculpture, situated at the entrance of the hotel. Within the non-gaming, non-smoking award-wining, there are 1,495 suites, a full-service wellness spa, dining options, a pool area with cabanas and 16,500 square feet of space for meetings and events. In September 2021, MGM Resorts International closed on a sale-leaseback deal with Blackstone Group, which acquired Vdara and ARIA for $3.89 billion.

The Resort
