All you need to know about where to party for the Big Game
When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in Tampa for Super Bowl LV on Sunday, the Super Bowl will look quite a bit different this year. Fewer fans will be allowed inside due to social distancing, but the action will be as intense as ever with a halftime show by The Weeknd. If you can’t be inside Raymond James Stadium to watch the NFL championship battle in person, you can still watch it all unfold in Las Vegas, whether at home or one of the best sports bars and viewing parties on the Strip. Check out our top picks.
Alto Bar
Caesars Palace
Book a reservation at Alto Bar, a sophisticated lounge offering reserved seating and bottle-service packages beginning at $350 for two people during the Big Game. It’s just steps away from the Caesars Palace sportsbook, which is having a party of its own with premium seats and drink packages available.
BetMGM Sportsbook and Bar
Park MGM
Despite its Strip location, the house sportsbook at Park MGM almost has the vibe of a neighborhood bar. Sit on comfortable couches, play a few bar games, and watch the NFL action while wolfing down barbacoa beef nachos, mini hot hogs, griddled burger sliders, a beer tower and other Game Day fare.
Blondies
Miracle Mile Shops
Mixed in with all the boutiques and restaurants at the Miracle Miles Shops at Planet Hollywood, you’ll find Blondies, one of the best sports bars in Las Vegas. The venue is covered with televisions, making every seat a great one. Blondies’ Super Sunday Party has a limited menu (in place of a buffet this year) with an open bar that includes top shelf options. Reservations begin at $250 per person.
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar
The Linq
Come hungry. Las Vegas native Guy Fieri is offering unlimited beer, house wine and well cocktails at his Strip restaurant, plus all-you-can-eat comfort food from 2 p.m. until the end of the game. Packages begin at $300 with reservations required. Place your bets nearby at The Book inside The Linq.
HyperX E-sports Arena
Luxor
The HyperX E-sports Arena is shifting focus from video games to the gridiron with a Big Game viewing party. Tickets sold in advance (beginning at $75) cover drinks from an open bar. Food is available from a special menu. Choose from VIP lounges, main-floor high-tops and second-level tables.
La Cave
Wynn
If you’re not hanging out by the sportsbook, your best bet for watching the Big Game at the Wynn is La Cave. Tailgate favorites will be served table-side in a prix-fixe format for $175 per person. A bottomless drink package is an additional $99. Try to reserve a seat on the covered patio, a scenic environment with tree-filled views.
STK
The Cosmopolitan
STK is adding 70-inch televisions throughout the dining room to turn the modern, upscale steakhouse into a lively Big Game party. A special menu has appetizers like Wagyu beef sliders and tuna tartare, main courses like a New York Strip and fish sandwich and sides that include truffle fries, sweet corn pudding and much more. Prices range from $325 to $350, with the option to add a bottle of Dom Perignon or Don Julio 1942 for $350. Email STK to learn more and secure a reservation.
The Still
The Mirage
There’s a $300 food and beverage minimum, but you’ll be facing televisions in multiple directions to catch the game from every angle. The fun part about The Still is ordering hot dogs, burgers and other dishes from the airstream trailer in the back. Book your reservation early.
Tao Group Nightclubs
The Venetian, The Palazzo and The Cosmopolitan
The Tao Group’s trio of nightclubs is hosting Big Game viewing parties in stylish environments with bottle service and plenty of bites to feed your appetite. Book your table for Tao Bowl at The Venetian, Lavo Bowl at The Palazzo or Marquee Bowl at The Cosmopolitan. The price of admission goes toward food and beverage credits at all three locations.
The Venetian Cocktail Collective
The Venetian/The Palazzo
The Dorsey, Rosina and Electra (which has a 40-foot digital video wall) are collectively known as The Venetian Cocktail Collective. All three will have viewing parties with themed cocktails for each team and a “Big Game Package” that’s $550 for four guests. It includes a bottle of Jameson, Absolut Elyx or Altos tequila, six cans of Red Bull, a round of specialty cocktails, a bucket of Stella or Bud Light and food from either Chica (The Dorsey) or Moon Palace (Rosina and Electra).
Virgil’s BBQ
The Linq
Bars and restaurants up and down The Linq Promenade will have viewing party specials throughout the game, but if you’re hungry for Southern-style barbecue, Virgil’s has you covered. Dine in with a $125 per person spread with ribs, brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, trainwreck fries, banana pudding and more, with T-bone and Tomahawk upgrades available. A takeaway version of the meal feeds 2 to 4 people for $125.
Yardbird and Chica
The Venetian
These two sister restaurants will have big screens set up to watch the game with all sorts of specials. Enjoy the hot mole wings, porchetta sliders and unlimited mimosas at Chica or the deviled eggs, St. Louis-style pork ribs and build-your-own Bloody Mary cocktails at Yardbird—plus much more. Beverage minimums begin at $150-$300 for two people. Both restaurants also have large-format take-home packages.
