The Seven Best Places For Playing Pickleball In Las Vegas

With elements of badminton and table tennis, Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the US. You probably already know that, which is why you’re looking for the perfect place to play a bit while you’re in Vegas. With so many things to do on the Strip, you might not be surprised that pickleball on the Strip is an option as well. Whether you plan on sticking close to your resort or would like to venture out, we’ve got you covered on the pickleball.

The Plaza offers a unique, retro vibe in downtown Las Vegas. Their rooftop recreation deck is just as distinctive, offering over 70,000 square feet of fun. In addition to 12 pickleball courts, you’ll find a pool and a hot tub surrounded by lounges and private cabanas. A bar and even a food truck keep the party going, making the Plaza one of the best places to play pickleball in Las Vegas.

Former NCAA champion David Pate and top-ranked collegiate player Dakota Pate both offer lessons. If you’re already an experienced player, the pro shop at Bally’s carries everything you need. These 24/7 pickleball courts, Las Vegas-style, are accessible through the Bally’s Las Vegas pool entrance.

Las Vegas, NV 89117

Padel is a blend of tennis, squash, and racquetball. It is slightly different from pickleball, and Real Racquet Academy offers free introductions to the sport for those willing to walk on the wild side. With only 67 padel courts in the US, your vacation in Vegas offers the perfect opportunity to try something new. If you’ve never tried sushi either, try Sushi Fever, located just around the block, or one of the many great sushi restaurants on the Strip.

Longevity Sports Center

5975 Topaz St
Las Vegas, NV 89120

While you will need to supply your own equipment when renting the indoor pickleball courts here, the Longevity Sports Center accommodates groups of up to six people with the option to expand the group for an additional fee. It’s one of the best places to play pickleball in Las Vegas for those meeting up with friends or playing as a family. They are primarily an indoor soccer center and offer pick-up games if you’re interested in kicking the ball around as well.

Nearby Parks and Rec Centers

Las Vegas has many beautiful parks and recreation centers that feature pickleball courts for public use. Not all of them will offer equipment rental, so if you’ve brought your own paddles, stop by a Las Vegas park and see what they have to offer.

Sunset Park

2601 E. Sunset Road
Las Vegas, NV 89120

(702) 455-8241

Sunset Park is the only location to offer a Pickleball Complex, complete with 24 standard courts as well as four regulation-sized championship courts. It’s a good idea to set a reservation ahead of time as the park can get busy, especially during league play and tournaments. You can reach out by email or phone. This is one of the largest pickleball complexes in the area.

Downtown Recreation Center

50 Van Wagenen St
Henderson, NV 89015

(702) 267-4040

If you’re looking for indoor pickleball courts that offer a wide variety of extras to please the whole group, the Downtown Recreation Center in Henderson fits the bill. In addition to pickleball courts, they feature an indoor gym, a seasonal swimming pool, an elevated walking track, and more.

Also, be sure to check out these parks if you are nearby, brought your gear and want to sneak a game in. Pickleballin’ awaits.
