Hotels With Swimming Pools On The Strip

Dive into an aquatic array of pools in the Strip hotels

Find the best hotels deals in Las Vegas

There’s no better way to escape the Las Vegas heat than diving into the refreshing waters of a swimming pool. The Strip alone has dozens of pools, ranging in size, seasonal availability and spicy offerings. Dive the pools in the prime months—summer and parts of spring and fall—or catch the pools open year-round on the Strip for an off-season visit.

It’s impossible to choose what hotel has the best pool on the Strip. Mandalay Bay has several acres of outdoor area to explore, including a pool with real sand to step into. Caesars Palace contains the most pools in their Garden of the Gods outdoor areas and Wet Republic at MGM Grand is well-known for having everything a poolgoer could ever need—especially saltwater pool water that’s gentle on the eyes.

Luckily, you’re not limited to your hotel’s pool. For paying customers, several resorts allow non-hotel guests to step in and use the pools. Don’t forget to visit the day clubs, such as Drai’s at The Cromwell and Encore Beach Club. Only then it is impossible to beat the heat because these are some of the hottest pool parties on the Strip.

We pride ourselves on our accurate information. If you have additional details regarding swimming pools on the Strip, email us at [email protected].

About Mandalay Bay Las Vegas's Swimming Pools

The Mandalay Bay pool complex on the Strip is legendary for two reasons: the beach and the lazy river.

Stretching across more than 11 acres, this is the ultimate aquatic adventure. Three pools, a lazy river, the lagoon and a collection of whirlpools make up what many call “one of the best pools in the US.” Real sand lines the “shore” of the pool, with cabanas that rest on wooden stages on the beach, giving off the vibe of an authentic tropical beachfront property. The lazy river’s cabanas are prime for people watching from the comfort of a shaded hideaway. It’s the perfect opportunity for adults to relax and recharge while keeping an eye on the kids, who can ride in the lazy river on inner tubes. Mandalay Bay offers inner tubes for daily rentals, or you can certainly bring your own.

While the pools all sound relaxing, there are opportunities to turn up the heat, so to speak. Daylight Beach Club is Mandalay Bay’s pool party that features a rotation of DJs and live events during the daytime pool hours, as well as Daylight at Night. Snag a reservation for a VIP table to enjoy all hours of the action.

Guests of Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas and Delano can also enjoy the pools at Mandalay Bay. It all starts with booking a room on the Strip to start enjoying the pools and their perks.

ARIA has Multiple Swimming Pools & Options

Soaking in a whirlpool, splashing with your kids-it wouldn’t be a Las Vegas vacation without getting some quality pool time in the desert sun. There are three main pools at Aria, each formed into a unique ellipse shape.

One of these pools, the Sky Pool, is an upscale pool area that has a private guest entrance. Another pool, the day-club LIQUID Pool Lounge, is an adults-only pool paradise. Adults will enjoy pampering, alcoholic drinks, and delicious food.

You have access to delicious drinks elsewhere, too, at the Pool Bar located in the midst of Aria’s main pool areas.

Reservations are available for certain luxurious seating around the Aria’s pools. Daybeds or single-seating options are available if you would like a comfy spot to lay in the sun, available to you all day long. That way, you won’t need to worry about other guests taking your spot.

Cabanas are also available. But, these cabanas, gazebos, and other sitting areas offer a level of luxury to guests that you wouldn’t believe. For instance, the Sky Pool Mega Gazebo comes with a coffee table, large couch, love seat, Wi-fi, towel service, and a personal host. The Resort Pool Mega offers all of this and more, with the addition of assorted non-alcoholic beverages, a refrigerator, music docking station and television.

About Caesars Palace Las Vegas's Swimming Pools

There’s no question that Caesars Palace expresses its grandeur in ways that are as revered as the streets of Athens and Rome. With a name like “Garden of the Gods,” it’s easy to feel otherworldly while stepping into the crystal-clear waters of the pools at Caesars Palace.

Seven pools are available to guests, with varying degrees of accessibility — Bacchus Pool requires a special invitation in order to enjoy its waters, and adults-only entertainment is available at Venus Pool. Everyone is welcome to frolic among the marble pillars situated in the oasis’s center at the Temple Pool. Note: the pools are not open year-round. Some pools close in the winter but are made available in early spring, just in time for the already-tepid Las Vegas winter to make its exit.

Not every resort offers swim-up extras as Caesars Palace does. Sneak in a hand of blackjack at one of their four swim-up tables at Fortuna, for those who can’t seem to stay away from that casino temptation. Or, walk a short distance to one of the daybeds and cabanas scattered around each pool, or the family-friendly cabanas at the Jupiter pool.

The only thing missing from a perfect poolside day at the Palace is some ambrosia.

    • The Citrus Grand Pool Deck is an award-winning themed complex including a restaurant, bar, and grassy area with shaded seating and lawn games.

The Citrus Grand Pool Deck is a unique pool experience in Las Vegas. You won’t find anything like it, even on the Strip, where swimming pools are an impressive display. What the Downtown Grand’s pool complex lacks in expansiveness, it makes up for in personality and playfulness. It was awarded the best downtown pool award in 2020 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Located on top of the casino, the pool deck features a heated infinity pool surrounded by loungers, daybeds, and private cabanas. A nearby grassy area provides more shaded seating and backyard games like corn hole, table tennis, and many more. You’ll find a fire pit available during certain hours.

A restaurant and full bar at the Citrus Grand pool deck serve up various citrus-themed meals and beverages. The pool menu includes appetizers, burgers, desserts, signature cocktails, beer, wine, and even Jell-O shots. There are vegetarian meal options as well. Cabana guests can order premium liquors or bottle service to keep the party going.

Hotel guests can access the “pool party paradise” free of charge, while non-guests can visit with a daybed or cabana rental. This keeps the number of visitors down so that those staying at the hotel have the best experience.

Major sporting events are no trouble here, as the pool complex can accommodate up to 4,000 guests. Those guests can book any one of 337 chaise lounges, 38 day beds, 30 private cabanas, eight water couches, or two owner’s suites.

All six pools at the Stadium Swim complex are temperature-controlled and open year-round. Pools and reserved accommodations are spread out over three tiers. • Four Queens guests are invited to use the pool at Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel, a rooftop pool on the 25th floor offering breathtaking views of the city.

As guests visiting downtown Las Vegas, you will soon realize that space is at a premium. Because of that, the Four Queens doesn’t have its own pool for guests. Instead, they invite their guests to the pool at their sister property, Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel, located just across the street.

Located on the 25th floor, this rooftop pool offers fantastic views of the city through glass walls. It’s not a large pool but offers chaise lounges for up to 15 people and cocktail seating, and a lounge venue with seating for many more. Unlike many other pools nearby, this one is eight feet deep, making it perfect for a splash or dive.

Surprisingly, this “hidden gem” rooftop pool is also reasonably quiet. It is available for public and private events, so you should call ahead to see if it’s available before heading over. If you plan a birthday party or special event, it might also be a great place for last-minute reservations.

Whether you are partying with 150 or just hanging out with the family or your significant other, this pool is a great hiding spot, well away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Las Vegas and with fantastic views of the valley.

This pool area offers plenty of loungers for those enjoying a splash and some sun, plus a separate hot tub. The D’s pool is not large but is a quiet oasis compared to many other downtown and Strip hotels with massive pool complexes and services.

If you are looking for that experience, you can try out the adults-only Stadium Swim at the Circa. Golden Gate guests are provided two free passes to Stadium Swim, where you can enjoy year-round entertainment. The Pool at the Plaza is a unique place to hang out. Artist, D*Face, designed the comic-book-inspired mural overlooking the pool deck. Titled “Behind Closed Doors,” this mural is the third to grace the 21-story hotel tower, and there will likely be another at some point, advertising an artist’s talents to Vegas tourists and 200,000+ vehicles on the I-15 freeway every day.

Spanning over 70,000 square feet, the Pool at the Plaza is inspired by “vintage palm springs” with nods to the hotel’s significant history in Las Vegas. You’ll find bright colors and clean lines that create a fun and vibrant atmosphere, whether you plan to kick your feet up or go for a splash.

Overlooking the Fremont Street Experience, the rooftop pool features a bar for pool guests, easily accessible for those staying in Pool Patio Rooms as well. Cabanas accommodate up to six guests and daybeds up to four, both including a cocktail server. There is a minimum drink purchase rolled into the reservation fee.

Also available at the pool are pickleball courts and equipment rentals. This is a great way to hang out with family or friends and is unique to the Plaza, as very few hotels in Vegas offer this popular sport.

Rent your little ones a raft to enjoy for a pool day, or get one for yourself to relax in while you make your way around the loops. Don’t forget about the cabanas and daybeds available for rent, which can house groups of up to eight.

Looking for more action? Wet Republic is a famous dayclub experience that is found at MGM Grand. World-famous DJs like Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki have graced the pool stage, and the food selections available at the pool are as large as the party.

Pool season generally runs from March to October on the Strip. However, the main pool at MGM Grand is open year-round for 365 days of sun-soaked fun, and the rest of the pools are open from March to November. Visiting the pool is as easy as booking a room at MGM Grand, where guests have exclusive, complimentary swim access.

About Luxor Las Vegas's Swimming Pools

If the Caesars Palace pool complex is a Roman-inspired garden of paradise, then Luxor is its cool Egypt-inspired equivalent.

Known to guests as The Oasis, Luxor features four pools as well as four whirlpools, to accommodate a large number of guests. With its themed features, such as pyramids and pillars, adults and families with children of all ages will enjoy this grand outdoor fixture at Luxor hotel.

In contrast to the desert sands of Vegas, the pool deck is outfitted with powder-blue chairs and daybeds that line the water’s edge and stretch across the 125,000+ square-foot pool deck. The real luxuries are the cabanas, complete with storage lockers, televisions, towel service and misters for when the Vegas sun becomes scorching hot.

Luxor has thought of everything from its drinks menu—complete with non-alcoholic beverages—to food that goes way beyond the standard chips and salsa. The Snack Bar and Pool Bar are also worth a visit to stay full and hydrated for long hours spent sunbathing.

Don’t forget to stop by the pools for Temptation Sundays, an all-inclusive party that is a staple feature of Las Vegas weekends.

Locals and non-hotel guests can enjoy the Luxor pool for a fee, and complimentary towel service is available.

Circus Circus not only has a pool. It has the intense Splash Zone and that doesn’t just have a pool either. It has swimming pools (multiple), whirlpools, a water playground and even a 50 foot slide tower. It’s more than a splash zone, it’s an aquatic event.

The 50 foot slide tower features three slides. The Mat Racer, Aqua Tube and Speed Slide all leave swimmers (42 inches or taller) sliding back for more.

Shooting water cannons more your style? The Splash Pad gives guests a chance to do just that, along with spill buckets, rain trees and more. Guests are encouraged to “turn, pull and throttle the interactive” space and, once you’re there, you’ll see that they do.

It’s the pools that offer refreshment from the intensity that the slides and pads offer. The two relaxing pools and whirlpools give guests a chance to unwind after a wild ride through the water wonderland.

For the kids, select pools have placed water-friendly structures in the shallow end, such as sprouting leaves and looping tunnels that emit a fun, cooling mist. For enjoyment that never seems to end, step into the exclusive Infinity Pool, for uninterrupted views of the Strip and all of its neon glory.

No pool complex would be complete without the touches of comfort to enhance hours spent sunbathing and swimming. Escape to a cabana or daybed to experience the height of relaxation, with some much needed privacy—after rocking out at Ayu Dayclub, that is. Or, grab a bite at Agave, the bright Latin American restaurant serving up fresh cocktail creations and fusion dishes that are perfect for the pool.

    Address:
3595 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89109, United States

About The Cromwell Las Vegas's Swimming Pools

The pool at the Cromwell is legendary. Drai’s is a tropical oasis in the sky, with its rooftop location and palm tree-lined waterfront. As an adult-only pool on the Strip, the fun is for the grown-ups here.

The cooling waters aren’t the only draw for Vegas guests looking for some fun. Drai’s Beachclub transforms the chill vibes of the pool into an electric daytime party, featuring DJs, drinks and dancing. When the sun sets—which is perfect to catch from the pool deck—enter Drai’s Nightclub. This is one of the Strip hotspots to see world-famous artists such as Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz. Gear up for a wild and late night, as the main acts tend to come on after midnight.

Despite all of the action, the pool at The Cromwell’s main draw is the Vegas view. The central location of the hotel means that guests can gaze at the Strip from the best angles, whether from the comfort of one of the daybeds or cabanas or waving at the cars from behind the glass.

Keep in mind that a dress code is encouraged and no smoking is allowed. What Drai’s does allow is dancing well into the night—or until the 3 a.m. closing time.

No matter what pool is chosen, the Strip offers great deals in outdoor relaxation. Tropicana Las Vegas is no exception, with their pool deck that checks all of the boxes.

Red and white chairs line the pool, with umbrellas to help the palm trees shade you from the Vegas sun. Once in the pool, get ready to splash around the center island that gives the water an island feel, or swim up to a blackjack table to get some gambling in. Tropicana Las Vegas is one of the only pools offering swim-up blackjack, so when the tables are open, don’t miss your chance to win big in the water.

About Vdara Las Vegas's Swimming Pools

Vdara shares many things with ARIA, such as the casino and parking amenities. One thing it doesn’t share is its pool deck, situated high in the sky in the Las Vegas Strip. It is the perfect complement to all of Vdara’s spa treatments and other soothing amenities.

Walk out onto the entryway rooftop to find the pool deck and surrounding cabanas. The fun, brightly-colored deck furniture will transport you into the tropical hideaway you didn’t know you needed. This is also a kid-friendly pool, although little ones aged 14 and under will need adult supervision in order to enjoy the pool. There are no adults-only choices for pools at Vdara, but for a change of scenery, guests are welcome to use the adjacent ARIA pool as well.

Refreshments are also close by. Order fun twists on classic poolside fare, such as the fun, boozy fruit salad delivered right to your daybed or cabana inside an actual watermelon bowl.

Reservations are required for the more luxurious pool seating—but you need a room at Vdara first. Book a night or two at Vdara Hotel on the Strip to start relaxing with those signature “Vdara views.”
