Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino adds sophistication and excitement to the Las Vegas Strip. This hotel offers a variety of different rooms and suites. It is also along the Las Vegas Monorail route, so travelers are connected to all the thrilling attractions in the city. If you choose to stay at the Westgate, you will be surprised with all the rich culture this property holds. The Westgate is actually the third name this property has held, with the first one ever being The Hilton.

While it may not currently be the biggest hotel, from 1981 to 1990, it was the largest hotel in the world. Whether it’s dining, shows or relaxation, this property is jam-packed with endless entertainment options. Speaking of entertainment, Elvis, of course, doesn’t perform there any more; However, Barry Manilow is currently performing at the International Theatre. There is something for everyone to enjoy, so if magic or Motown or even rock ’n’ roll is more to your liking, then you won’t be disappointed.

After checking in, keep your eyes peeled for an overload of cuteness. Without spoiling the surprise too much, Sir Winston of Westgate is the official furry mascot. He loves wagging his tail and meeting new people.

Balcony Options at the Westgate Las Vegas

Entertaining the idea of a truly luxurious Las Vegas getaway may include visions of you and your party lounging on a private patio area off of your spacious Strip view suite. While it may be difficult to find a room or suite in Las Vegas with a balcony, the Westgate does have some rooms suited with balconies. One, the bedroom, leads directly out from the lounge and bed area to a spacious patio in the desert sun. Another version, the Versailles Sky Villa, connects to a lovely outdoor terrace directly off the master bedroom. This room also has its own private outdoor pool.

Westgate Las Vegas is a Pet Friendly hotel

Westgate Las Vegas invites dogs to come along on your vacation with you. Should you decide to take your furry friend along, you will be asked to pay $100 for a pet cleaning fee. If you only bring one dog, that dog must weigh below 60 pounds. In addition, certain breeds are not allowed on Westgate property. These breeds include Great Danes, Shar-Peis, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and more. Check with the property by calling ahead when booking your vacation to make sure your dog is allowed.

Westgate has many things to do that children will enjoy. For instance, your kids may enjoy one of the many shows that Westgate hosts. One such show, the Magic of Jen Kramer, will make their jaws drop. What kid doesn’t love a good pool day? The Westgate pool is exclusive to hotel guests, so you’ll be able to trust a certain level of added security. In addition, children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult during the entirety of their pool adventures. Your kids will love diving into the refreshing water, and soaking in the large fifteen-seater hot tub.

In town for one of the famous Las Vegas conventions? Across the street from Westgate is the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, and the main area of the Convention Center is only one block south. This can be your experience at one of the many Jacuzzi rooms at Westgate. Most rooms do have jetted tubs, like the One Bedroom Villa, or the Sky Villas on the 29th floor. With such a luxurious feature, you will be tempted to soak the days away in your own room with a loved one.

As mentioned, there are many rooms at Westgate that offer breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip. Choose between hotel rooms, suites, High Roller Suites, and Sky Villas to take advantage of this experience.

However, Westgate is technically off the Strip, and sits behind Wynn Las Vegas and the Wynn Golf Club. While you won’t get that specific on-the-Strip feeling from your Strip view room, the Las Vegas Strip is expansive. You won’t miss any of the illustrious sights and sounds on the sidewalks below. Instead, you’ll be able to look out and see a wide expanse of all the action going on.

On the other side of the shell is a large Jacuzzi tub and lounging area. Step out from here onto your own private balcony to enjoy the night lights.

The Bahamas Suite is also one bedroom, though it boasts over 2,200 square feet of astounding decor. This room has its own pool table, and interesting modern furniture. Or, choose the Gold Coast Suite, with views of the Strip that literally bend above your dining room table. You’ll be able to have a full view of the excitement below and the sky above.
