There’s extravagance, and then there’s Caesars Palace.
Outfitted with everything a resort could need, this property in the middle of the Strip cannot be missed. Ornate marble-like columns tower over pedestrians, inviting them in to experience the decadence of The Colosseum and The Forum Shops.
Some of the most notable names in dining reside among the 22 restaurants inside Caesars Palace. Brunch legends such as Bacchanal Buffet and seafood restaurant staples like Amalfi by Bobby Flay are just a couple of the choices for meals that won’t soon be forgotten.
The scale of Caesars Palace is reflected in both its casino and sportsbook. Between 1300 slot machines, over 180 table games and 18 screens for sports betting, there is no shortage of opportunities for all types of gamblers. However, if gambling isn’t your pastime of choice, the roster of entertainment won’t disappoint. Dance at OMNIA Nightclub, where headliners of all calibers regularly perform. Or, if dancing isn’t your strong suit, witness the splendor—and “stupid sexy fun”—of Absinthe, an adults-only performance that is as side-splitting as it is spectacular.

Swimming Pools at the Caesars Palace Las Vegas
There’s no question that Caesars Palace expresses its grandeur in ways that are as revered as the streets of Athens and Rome. With a name like “Garden of the Gods,” it’s easy to feel otherworldly while stepping into the crystal-clear waters of the pools at Caesars Palace. Seven pools are available to guests, with varying degrees of accessibility — Bacchus Pool requires a special invitation in order to enjoy its waters, and adults-only entertainment is available at Venus Pool. Everyone is welcome to frolic among the marble pillars situated in the oasis’s center at the Temple Pool. Note: the pools are not open year-round. Some pools close in the winter but are made available in early spring, just in time for the already-tepid Las Vegas winter to make its exit. Not every resort offers swim-up extras as Caesars Palace does. Sneak in a hand of blackjack at one of their four swim-up tables at Fortuna, for those who can’t seem to stay away from that casino temptation. Or, walk a short distance to one of the daybeds and cabanas scattered around each pool, or the family-friendly cabanas at the Jupiter pool. The only thing missing from a perfect poolside day at the Palace is some ambrosia.

Caesars Palace is a participant in The PetStay program, which only allows dogs. So leave your alligators at home. Each room can have up to two dogs, as long as they weigh 50 pounds or less and are present at check-in. There is no restriction on dogs walking through common areas as long as they are on a leash and accompanied by their owners. Owners of dogs must be prepared to accommodate their dogs until the room is ready. Dogs must be kenneled or removed from the room during housekeeping. Housekeeping may be scheduled at your convenience; however, at least every other day, housekeeping must be permitted to service your guest room. Las Vegas is a dog-friendly city with lots of locations just a short walk or drive from Caesars. Within the city limits, there are several different off-leash dog parks. On the Las Vegas Strip alone, they include Charlie Frias Park, located on Decatur Boulevard, and Western Trails Park, found south of McCarran International Airport. Western Trails Park also has several picnic tables, plenty of parking and a playground for the little ones. Pet owners are also allowed to walk their pets along the Las Vegas Strip daily between the hours of 5 a.m. and noon.
