The Pet Owner’s Guide To Finding Pet Supplies in Las Vegas

When you travel with your pet or service dog, you also have to travel with their supplies—or do you? Actually, you can save some room in your luggage, because there are plenty of places to grab your furry friend’s essentials during your trip. Whether you need to get toys, pet food or a Sin City-themed collar, you’ll find what you need in one of our favorite pet supplies stores in Las Vegas.

Pet Supply Shops In Las Vegas

If you’re looking for pet supply shops on the Strip, you’ll notice that you have to venture away from the action to find what you need. You could head to the M&M Store for candy-themed collars or to the Hard Rock Cafe for rock n’ roll dog tags, but you’ll be out of luck if you’re looking for pup shampoo or cat food.

However, there are several stores just a short car ride away where you can find everything your cuddly companion needs for your stay in Las Vegas. If you’re bringing your pet to stay with you in one of the many pet-friendly hotels in the city, make sure you know where to find toys, treats and supplies they may need.

With low prices and a large selection of quality products, Dog Supplies Outlet is a great place to find toys, food, grooming supplies and more for your loving canine. You can enjoy the convenience of a large pet store and the exciting variety of a local shop—all in one place.

They have everything a pet parent needs to keep their companion happy. Plus, they offer dog grooming services so your baby can get a little TLC while you’re in Las Vegas. If you want your dog to learn a little something while you’re here, check out their dog training classes, offered both via Zoom and in-person. They have several locations across Vegas, but the closest to the Strip is the South Rainbow Boulevard store.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pet Supplies in Las Vegas

Can I ask my hotel’s concierge to have supplies delivered?

Sometimes. It’ll be quick to call down and check, but make sure to ask whether they’ll charge a service charge or extra fee to your bill. It may be cheaper to use a third-party delivery app to order what you need than to enlist the hotel’s staff. As an alternative, Petco and PetSmart offer curbside pickup. If you’re low on time, you can place your order online and pick it up on the same day.

Are there any fun things I could do with my dog in Las Vegas?

Yes. Check out the dog-friendly activities of our pet-friendly hotels article. You’ll learn about our favorite things to do with our pups. The list includes things like taking a walk at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, grabbing a treat at Three Dog Bakery and window shopping at Town Square.

Can I adopt a pet while in Las Vegas?

Of course. That being said, if you live in another state or country, make sure the pet you adopt is legal where you live. Some pets you could adopt in Las Vegas are actually banned elsewhere. The same goes for breeds, because some breeds are restricted in certain locations. Since Nevada has some of the most lax domestic pet laws in the United States, there’s a good chance that you could find yourself adopting a pet that you can bring home with you.
