The Japanese-American restaurant, Mizumi, is located at the Wynn Las Vegas and holds two  Michelin stars. Michelin stars have been awarded to the best restaurants in the United States since 1926, and is a badge of honor for restaurants and chefs alike. The restaurant has also been awarded four stars from the Forbes Travel Guide. 

When you visit Mizumi, you will taste the culinary offerings of star chef Min Kim, while enjoying a dining room with decor reminiscent of Japanese gardens paired with a ninety-foot waterfall. Attire is business casual here, and this restaurant is expensive, but it will give you the chance to try some of the best food in Las Vegas. Try the 50 hour Wagyu Veal Cheek, a prime cut that is accentuated by celeriac puree, red sake ponzu reduction, garlic and pickled golden beetroot. Or, try one of their many cuts of kobe beef. The Elote Dog at Dirt Dog

Eggs Benedict at Sadelle’s Cafe

Sadelle’s Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas for breakfast or brunch, as they open at 7:00 a.m. each and every day. This cafe operates within the Bellagio, and overlooks the Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Tournedos Rossini at Bardot Brasserie

The dress code here is upscale casual, so you will need to dress up to try the le fromage or steak frites au poivre.

Order the Tournedos Rossini at this French restaurant, which is Michael Mina’s filet mignon, paired with seared foie gras and a delicious perigourdine sauce. The Firebird at The Crack Shack

On the comfort bar food side of things, the Crack Shack at Park MGM has excellent options of fried chicken, salads, wings and sandwiches. This restaurant’s menu was designed by celebrity chef Richard Blais, and inspired by his love for breakfast for dinner. Their chickens are the best in Las Vegas, raised beyond free range and never fed any antibiotics. 

Order a 10-piece meal of fried chicken, a flock meal to feed the whole family or just a sandwich or bowl. Try the Firebird, an amazing sandwich on a potato roll, made of spicy fried chicken thigh, topped with crispy onions, cool ranch and pickles. Make this sandwich a double for only six additional dollars.

Maple Glazed Pork Belly at CUT by Wolfgang Puck

CUT, located within the Palazzo, is another of celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s creations. At CUT, you will be seated in a room designed by Avery Brooks and Associates, with a Mad Man -esque vibe. Reservations are recommended before arriving at CUT, though they may be hard to come by. Plan ahead and book well in advance to guarantee a table here. 

This meal will make you feel like you are in a cozy New England fall, instead of the hot Nevada desert. Try the Maple Glazed Pork Belly at CUT, topped with cherry mostarda, pumpkin seeds and watercress. Add sides to your dish, like hand-cut French fries, Kung Pao cauliflower or wild field mushrooms to complete the meal.

Or, try a cut of beef at CUT, as Wolfgang Puck’s philosophy is to serve only the finest cuts of beef while preparing it simply, so that you may enjoy the naturally occurring flavors of the meat. The Japanese Wagyu New York, a six-ounce chateau enuae, is your best bet, though it will run you almost $400. A New York Sirloin may be a more obtainable choice at just $75 a steak. 

Dry-Aged Washugyu Chuleton at Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres

Along the same lines of excellent cuts of beef, consider ordering your next meal at Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres.  Bazaar Meat is located within the Sahara Las Vegas, and is the winner of many awards. For instance, Jose Andres has won the James Beard Award and has received Michelin stars. The restaurant itself has received the Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence, and Business Insider says Bazaar Meats is the best restaurant in Nevada. 

Bazaar Meats holds unique events that are sometimes month-long. For instance, every Sunday in October, they host Caviar and Champagne Sundays, where guests dine on festive fall flavors as well as a 57-gram caviar flight, caviar tapas or table side tartar with beef sirloin. 

Before you arrive, make sure you are dressed in casual elegant attire.
