Johnny Rockets is a throwback to the 1950’s diner. Grab a burger and fries but don’t forget the shake. You can keep it classic with chocolate, strawberry and vanilla or try something a little wild. They offer casual dining as well as take-out if you’re in a hurry or delivery if you’d rather stay in. They have eight locations on the Strip, so a Johnny Rockets is never too far away.

If you love a good charbroiled burger, the Habit Burger Grill is the place for you. Produce is sourced from nearby California for the freshest taste and all burgers grilled to order. They regularly freshen up their menu with seasonal burgers and sandwiches, plus occasionally bring back fan-faves. You’ll find it on the level three food court at the Fashion Show Mall.

For a Vegas-style burger joint, you’ll want to head to Stripburger. They boast that it will take two hands to tackle their monster-sized meal on a bun, but be sure to save room for the fresh-cut fries, arguably a meal in themselves. This all-outdoor restaurant also serves up boozy shakes with your choice of liquor shot.

In-N-Out is touted as the first drive-in hamburger joint in California, explaining its West coast vibe. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself waiting a few minutes just to place your order here. The fast food restaurant has a cult following, much like White Castle and Krystal burger. If you are visiting from points east and haven’t seen an In N Out before, you’re in for a treat as the burger is worth the wait.

Fatburger doesn’t just grill up beef or veggie burgers, but also chicken sandwiches. The XXXL Fatburger is a beast with 1.5 pounds of beef plus your choice of toppings between a toasted bun, making it enough to satisfy the strongest burger craving. As if the hand-scooped, real ice cream milkshakes weren’t filling enough, right? Fatburger is hard to miss, right across from the Park MGM.

Like In-N-Out, White Castle has its own passionate crowd of fans. Previously only available in certain regions, the chain now has several Nevada locations, including the one on Las Vegas Boulevard offering their signature quick bite sliders. Order a chicken sandwich in this open-air restaurant and enjoy what they call “a certain Je ne sais ‘squawk’” with a fine-dining flair. While it’s located at the Park MGM, you’ll find the entrance on the Strip. The atmosphere creates a new, unique experience for diners, even including lawn games. Lawn games on the Strip? Yes.

Located on the top floor food court at Luxor, you’ll enjoy freshly breaded and fried tenders along with a spectacular view of the Strip. These tenders are prepared to order, so you may be waiting a few minutes for them compared to other places in the food court, but they are definitely worth the wait. The shoestring fries pair perfectly with them, so don’t forget the meal deal.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A is the chicken restaurant we know and love from coast to coast. You may have seen their “renegade” cows with the famous slogan of “Eat Mor Chikin.” They have three locations on the Strip, so you’re likely to find one nearby. Just keep in mind that they aren’t open on Sundays.

However, once you see the vinyl record-lined hallway, you’ll find the best-kept secret in Las Vegas pizza restaurants hiding on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan.

Pin-Up Pizza at Planet Hollywood

Pin-Up Pizza is known for two things. First, their servers are dressed up as pin-up girls giving their restaurant a fun and decidedly vintage vibe. Second, they hold the distinction of serving the largest slices of pizza available on the Strip. You’ll find it on the Strip just in front of Planet Hollywood, a perfect place for people watching. 

Pieology Pizzeria at MGM Grand
