9 Best Grocery Stores on the Strip (Easy To Find)

It never fails that you get to your vacation destination and forgot to pack something. Or, you plan on picking up a few things once you get there to save space. No matter the reason for your shopping trip, finding the best grocery stores on the Strip is a must. We have you covered. No matter which section of the Strip your hotel is located in, here are the closest.

The South Strip

This section of the Strip is considered all hotel-casinos on Las Vegas Blvd at Harmon Ave and south. This includes Planet Hollywood as well as the ARIA. You’ll find the Delano and Four Seasons at the extreme southern end, not to mention the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.

1. Target Grocery

3767 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste 100, Las Vegas, NV 89109
(725) 724-4459

The Target and Target Grocery are located in the Showcase Mall on the east side of the Strip just north of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. If you’ve forgotten to pack a few essential items, this might be your best bet. Target Las Vegas Showcase offers clothing, electronics, personal care items and much more. It’s a one-stop shop if you’re staying at any of the South Strip hotels.

2. Whole Foods Market

6689 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89119
(702) 589-7711

The Las Vegas Boulevard Whole Foods Market is easy to find although a little south of the official Strip. Drive south on Las Vegas Blvd, past the welcome sign, and it will be on the left. It’s just past McCarran airport. Whole Foods is a USDA Certified Organic grocer, the only one in the country. If you’re looking for natural or unique foods, this is the place.

3. Vons

1131 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119
(702) 798-8697

Vons on Tropicana is a traditional grocery store focused on food and beverage items with a small personal care and home goods selection. It’s not located on Las Vegas Blvd but is quite close. From the Strip, head East on Tropicana Avenue. It’s two blocks up on the southwest corner of Tropicana and Maryland Parkway, near the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The street is pretty easy to find from the Strip. It’s right next to the Tropicana Las Vegas.

The Middle of the Strip

The most centrally located hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip is probably Bellagio or The Cosmopolitan. However, the middle Strip is home to a few big names that we know you’ve heard of. Caesars Palace, The LINQ, and the Flamingo all have very different atmospheres but can be found a stone’s throw apart. There’s much to do and see here, but you might have to travel a little farther to find grocery stores on the Strip.

4. Smith’s Food & Drug

4001 S Decatur Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89102
(702) 248-4400

These traditional grocery stores carry all the fresh, frozen, non-perishable foods you may want to stock up on for your Vegas stay. They have in-store pharmacies, so you can fill a prescription or grab some bandaids and Tylenol if you’ve forgotten to pack a first aid kit. This particular Las Vegas Smith’s location is not far from Las Vegas Blvd. Depending on which center Strip hotel you’re staying at, it’s about a 10- to 15-minute drive.

5. International Marketplace

5000 S Decatur Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89118
(702) 889-2888

Also located on Decatur Blvd, the International Marketplace is a grocery store you may just want to make a special trip to explore. Filled with food items from over 50 countries, you’re sure to find something you’d like to try. Noodles from Asia? Pasta from Italy? Find them here and much more.

The easiest way to get there is to head west on Tropicana Ave from the Strip and turn left on Decatur Blvd. The store is on the left side.

6. Albertsons

1300 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
(702) 733-2947

Another traditional grocery store option for you is Albertsons on Flamingo. They are known for their fresh produce, in particular, but you’ll find the assortment of groceries you’d expect. This one is a little farther away but still nearer the middle part of the Strip. Head east on Flamingo Rd from Las Vegas Blvd, and the store will be on the left about three blocks up. Find Flamingo Rd on the Strip between The Cromwell and Bally’s hotels.

The North Strip

The north Strip is home to The Mirage on the west side of Las Vegas Blvd and the Venetian on the east, plus everything north of them. This includes Treasure Island, Wynn Las Vegas, Circus Circus, The STRAT and others. The hotels here aren’t as densely packed, which is a great benefit for some. When staying here, you will want to locate the closest grocery stores on the Strip for any last-minute purchases.

7. Vons

1155 E Twain Ave Las Vegas, NV 89169
(702) 696-0906

The Vons on Twain will be very similar to the one featured near the south Strip. This one, however, also includes a fuel station if you need to gas up while also wanting a few snacks. From Las Vegas Blvd, head east on Twain for two blocks, and it’s on the right. Twain is located between the Venetian and the Wynn

8. Albertsons

1760 E Charleston Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89104
(702) 366-1550

Again, this Albertson’s will be similar to the one on Flamingo Road we listed above. Depending on which north Strip hotel you are staying at, the Charleston Albertsons location could be closer to you than this one. Be sure to check both to see which one would be the most convenient to travel to.

9. Walmart Supercenter

4505 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102
(702) 258-4540

If you’re staying farther north on the Strip, you have something others don’t. You are closer to a Walmart Supercenter. The Walmart on Charleston will have everything you need, from clothes and personal items to phone charger cables and video game controllers. Whatever you’re missing, you’ll find it here. A one-way trip can take 10 to 20 minutes, depending on your route and traffic.
